13.12.18 - 19:00

This evening with Khadija El Abyad and Farid Zahi is an opportunity to present, in a context of exchange, the projects developed by Khadija El Abyad since her graduation in the Institut National des Beaux-Arts in Tetouan.
This context of open exchanges is an invitation for the public to take part in the discussion, in order to collectively think about the subjects treated in her projects.

“In her pictorial compositions just like in her videos, Khadija El Abyad explores the confines of suffering, and stages them in the plurality of her own body. The use of glass, barbed wire, bandages… translates a language that confronts the sharp edges to the incalculable fragility of the skin. This is an extreme artistic adventure, lived with a great inventiveness, and an even greater aesthetic profoundness.”
Farid Zahi
Président of the AICA-Maroc
