Espace Culturel Diadié Tabara Camara

Founded by  Siré Camara, the cultural space Diadié Tabara Camara is located in Nouakchott. Its name pays tribute to a former teacher. This apolitical and nonprofit association was created in 2002 and recognized on June 16, 2006 under the 0207 receipt.

The cultural space Diadié Tabara Camara is a space for meetings, exchanges and knowledge sharing. Its principal goal is to accompany the public, and notably the young generation to produce knowledge and education on citizenship and living together through artistic and cultural activities (theater, dance, fashion, conferences, plastic arts, tales …).

In this dynamic, the association encourages
youth education, particularly in relation to the fields of school and the environment,
the animation of live shows (stories, poetry, theater, debates, conferences, fashion …),
the promotion of national cultural policies,
the improvement of the conditions of national cultural heritage conservation and valorization,
the facilitation of human resources development and training.
