Josep Ginestar is a Spanish artist who creates artistic installations related to the environments where he has lived. The artist uses the soil that surrounds him as a primary material for his work. Influenced by both, land art and the work of Joseph Beuys, Josep presents an exhibition that pays tribute to the Andalusí mystic Ibn al Arabi.

During his residency at Le Cube – independent art room, Josep Ginestar produces a new series of works. These new works, that are impregnated by spirituality, are also deeply imprinted by Morocco and its landscapes.
These unprecedented works will be presented in the solo exhibition of Ginestar, Cel.lules – Hommage au Maroc.
